Use ShardStitch with Antigravity.

This Antigravity profile uses the Gemini-style project handoff and a separate MCP configuration. Treat the project file as the restart brief and verify the IDE workspace before relying on it.

After-death behavior: Yes. ShardStitch can use the Gemini-style pickup file plus Antigravity session/DOM capture and repo state.

Integration paths.

Hand-off in

GEMINI.md, because Antigravity follows the Gemini convention.

MCP

Auto-configured at ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json.

Session recovery

Verify the open IDE workspace and any captured desktop state against the repository.

Setup path.

Run ShardStitch inside the project.

Generate GEMINI.md for the project and check whether the optional MCP server is present in the Antigravity client configuration. Open the same checkout that produced the handoff.

Write the Antigravity handoff.

Generate the recovery packet, write GEMINI.md, and let ShardStitch install the MCP config.

Start clean.

Ask the new session to confirm it sees the project instructions and list one file or command that supports the claimed current state.

Limits to know.

A shared instruction format does not mean Antigravity and Gemini CLI have identical capture, session, or MCP behavior. This page covers the handoff artifact; it does not guarantee recovery of provider-side history.

Best use case.

Moving Antigravity work into Gemini CLI, Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.

FAQ.

Can I use the same handoff file for Antigravity and Gemini CLI?

The formatter can produce a Gemini-style file, but confirm the client opened the intended project and loaded the file. The two clients may have different session state and MCP configuration.

Get ShardStitch

Resume this workflow.

After an IDE crash, reopen the project, confirm GEMINI.md is part of the workspace context, then check the changed files against Git. If Antigravity starts in a different folder, correct that before asking it to continue.

In Antigravity, explicitly attach or read GEMINI.md from the open workspace and compare the selected project with the checkpoint before proceeding.
