Agreement
These Terms govern your purchase and use of ShardStitch. By installing, activating, or using the software, you agree to these Terms and the License Agreement. If you are using ShardStitch for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
Purchase and access
ShardStitch is sold as a one-time license unless a checkout page explicitly states otherwise. Taxes, currency conversion, refunds, and payment processing may be handled by Polar under its checkout terms.
Your license key is personal to the purchaser or licensed organisation. Keep it secure and contact support if you believe it has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You may use ShardStitch for lawful personal or internal business work. You must not use it to access projects or systems without authorisation, bypass another person's security controls, distribute malicious software, or violate applicable law.
You may not resell license keys, offer the executable as your own product, or distribute modified copies except where we have given written permission.
Local operation and third parties
ShardStitch is designed to operate locally. Its output may be used with third-party AI tools, editors, Git hosts, package registries, and operating systems. Those services are independent and may change, become unavailable, or apply their own terms.
You remain responsible for reviewing a handover before sharing it and for maintaining appropriate backups and source control.
Updates and warranty
We may release fixes, compatibility updates, and new features. Specific future features and timelines are plans, not guarantees, unless expressly included in a written offer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShardStitch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShardStitch and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity; or actions taken by an AI tool using generated context.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability relating to the software will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected license.
Termination and changes
Your right to use the software ends if you materially breach these Terms or the License Agreement. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and restrictions survive termination.
We may update these Terms as the product changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
