License grant
Subject to this Agreement and payment of the applicable fee, ShardStitch grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the software for your own personal or internal business purposes.
This is a license to use the software, not a sale of its source code, brand, or intellectual property.
Permitted installations
You may activate the license on machines you own or control, subject to the activation limits and product tier shown at purchase. One license may support the operating systems made available for that purchase; platform availability can differ by release.
You are responsible for protecting the license key and for use made through your installations.
Restrictions
Except where applicable law expressly allows it, you may not:
- Sell, rent, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the software or license key.
- Remove copyright, trademark, license, or attribution notices.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software to create a competing product.
- Use the software to violate law or gain unauthorised access to third-party systems or data.
Ownership
ShardStitch and its licensors retain all rights in the software, documentation, trademarks, and updates. You retain ownership of your code, project files, notes, memory, and generated handover content.
No ownership of your project content transfers to ShardStitch merely because the software processes it locally.
Updates and compatibility
Your purchase includes the updates promised by the offer in effect when you bought the license. New operating systems, AI tools, and third-party interfaces may require compatibility work and are not guaranteed to remain unchanged.
Preview, beta, roadmap, and planned features may change before release.
Transfer and resale
The license is non-transferable unless ShardStitch gives written approval or applicable law requires otherwise. Do not sell or share the key. If your organisation changes ownership or you need to move an authorised installation, contact support.
Termination
This Agreement remains effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially violate its restrictions. On termination, stop using the software and remove unauthorised copies.
The warranty and liability provisions in the Terms of Service apply to this license.
