Use ShardStitch with Replit.

This Replit profile is a paste-based continuation path with a local memo option. It is especially important to state whether the next agent is working in a hosted Replit project or a local copy.

After-death behavior: Partial. ShardStitch can rebuild from a local repo checkout and prepare a packet for Replit, but it is not a deep Replit workspace parser.

Integration paths.

Hand-off in

Generic continuation prompt and .handoff_memo.md.

MCP

No native MCP path listed in this build.

Session recovery

Paste handoff only; verify the hosted Replit project is the intended work tree.

Setup path.

Run ShardStitch inside the project.

Generate the packet from the local repository, paste it into the next Replit Agent interaction, and name the exact Replit project or branch to edit. Keep a copy of the handoff with the local project if useful.

Write the Replit handoff.

Use the generated continuation packet when moving work into Replit.

Start clean.

Before accepting changes, compare the Replit workspace and preview with the intended source of truth, then export or sync only through the project workflow you choose.

Limits to know.

The local handoff memo does not sync a local repository to Replit, and paste does not restore the previous hosted conversation. Verify project identity and preserve the current version before publishing.

Best use case.

Moving a recovered coding state into a Replit project.

FAQ.

Does a ShardStitch handoff sync my local files into Replit?

No. It carries context, not file synchronization. Open or identify the intended Replit project and review the resulting changes there.

Resume this workflow.

If a hosted agent stopped during a UI change, record the route, components touched, preview behavior, and remaining check. In the next Replit run, make one isolated change and verify both the preview and the project diff.

Attach or paste the memo in the correct Replit workspace, then compare the hosted files with the commit named in the checkpoint.

Primary source and delivery boundary.

Replit Agent workflow (checked September 27, 2026). Replit documents Agent work inside its project environment. Compare that hosted project with your local copy before assuming a pasted checkpoint describes the same files.
